Hi there! My name is James, I am a passionate dog photographer who specialises in outdoor and woodland photography.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for dogs and photography. Combining the two has allowed me to capture some truly stunning moments that show the unique bond between dogs, nature and their owners.

I love nothing more than being out in the countryside with my dog Tony and camera which is what prompted me to start up Muddy Paws Photography. I have a background in photography that goes back to the days of film and processing images in a darkroom. When I’m not photographing dogs I can be found at  James Thomas Photography photographing weddings so with many years in the industry I have seen and experienced most things photographic. 

I believe that the best photographs come from letting dogs be themselves, which is why I always strive to make each session a fun and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog.
